Don't worry, I have several...Hi Magda Vidales,

Don't worry, I have several posts pending about Terry and Susanna ^__-, but there's no doubt that getting this info from old novel, help us to understand Nagita's intention about CCFS ^o^

As you can see, structure in that old version is almost the same to CCFS and things about every character in old novel were very clear so I don't know why there're people saying that author change her plot to CCFS when everything is as she wanted to be since manga as we could see in all previous versions. Yes, she made some changes for CCFS but nothing so significant to change the plot, just to improve her story with novelties and clarify some parts, and of course there're others that are still the same, Ex. Since old novel, Candy has finished her unsent letter to Terry with P.S. "I liked you" (Terry..., sukideshita) ^_-

Terry is a very important character from the past and I have a lot to say about him, but Susanna's death and his note are not a plot twist, just new information included in CCFS. That's why is so important to take a look to old novel to confirm that this new info was the best way Nagita found to give hope to some fans. Really, there's a lot to say about these characters ^o^

No doubt CCFS is Nagita's ultimate and corrected version, that, as I said before, bring us more information about her tale but in essence the plot is the same as always.

All this info is not to favour a specific character, just to help understand the story. Even Nagita said that in preface to italian version: CCFS takes over her original script that she used for all previous versions. Origin is the script.

So, I invite you to visit my blog often, surely I'll post something about Terry and Susanna very soon.

Regards. Congratulations!!! I can imagine how much time you invested on it. I can see how much you love Albert's character.

However, you are forgetting to mention two more exclusive changes in CCFS, Susan's death and Terry's letter to Candy. Why didn't you mention these details that certainly give an unexpected twist to the story? Also I don't understand the necessity to show the similarities in both versions, and not mention these new changes. It's like we didn't recognize the value of the author's effort to give us a revised version of her novel.

Perhaps there are no radical changes in the structure of the novel but if there are important changes in the content. My comment goes directly with entire respect. I am being honest when I say that I liked your work, but in my opinion I just don't perceive it to be so objective or neutral. But I understand that it is so by your preference on the Albert character.

Thank you for your attention.Magda Vidaleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05006049556659498938noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3926383227909511321.post-55047393109163438242017-06-08T23:41:56.484-07:002017-06-08T23:41:56.484-07:00Thank you Fay!!! ;__; And also thanks to my dear f...Thank you Fay!!! ;__; And also thanks to my dear friend Ms Puddle for consider my work as something interesting to be shared even in English <3

With all this info in hands, sharing the truth about Candy Candy as become a mission so I'll work very hard in my next posts to offer more evidence that Nagita never changed her mind about what she wrote in 70's.

Hugs and kises <3<3<3Yue-chanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15256503020439094272noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3926383227909511321.post-54381939858704717252017-06-06T14:17:38.039-07:002017-06-06T14:17:38.039-07:00Hello, Yue Chan. Yes, the wind is a metaphor about how Albert appears and disappears in Candy's life and how much she's longing to see him again. I always admire ones who could do that. - well, I used to make some analysis reports when I worked in finance, and I did some when in college, but not something like ... CANDY CANDY! Hahahah. More over, the data was scattered everywhere, and most were not in your native language. So, ... wow!

I won't say much because I amen everything Ms Puddle and Fay has said.

I just want to comment about the poem "In the wind". In my vague memory, I remember a scene in manga, when Albert was still a vagabond in Lakewood. He said to Candy something like this " Don't worry Candy, I am like the wind, I can easily disappear". :)

And indeed somewhat Albert was smooth like the wind and agile like the lion. The differences between the two novels are minimal, and in CCFS the most important change is that we reader got glimpses of Candy's future with her loving husband!

Thank you for mentioning me, but I take no credits. In fact, I'm so glad my question spurred your curiosity and research, and look at what you've accomplished! This is a proof, no doubt, that Candy was destined to marry her Prince on the Hill.

What surprised me most was the illustrations chosen for the inside cover. Each cover represents a stage in Candy's life, but the inside cover is always Candy and Albert. This confirms our theory--Albert is the only constant in Candy's life. He's there from the beginning to the end. Ms Puddlehttp://mspuddleshaven.comnoreply@blogger.com
